I've officially and finally moved... but I'll leave these 800+ entries here for drama's sake.

right now, i'm playing vegas 2 - it's fucking intense. not as intense as cod4, but pretty intense. in tents. anyways, speaking of call of duty 4 - i'm planning on going to san jose on friday night to meet the devs at infinity ward and hopefully grab a free xbox live token that they're giving away to 100 people for the new map pack. hopefully. if not, i'll just stay here in my house and play more games and eat more food. what a life.
but, on the serious side, i worked pretty hard today. i fixed up the pharmacy from dirt to shimmer and hopefully the "staff" will take notice tomorrow and transfer me to a SF store. it's been almost 3 weeks now and i've put way too many miles on my car. i can't imagine what another 3 is going to do. but either way, i plan on e-mailing this bitch again and saying "where's my transfer at?". in the meantime, i'm going to keep my options open and keep peeping that kaiser that ever so looms a block from my window. but, i hate kaiser ... with a passion - so working there would suck. but more money, if i got hired. which is a whole other issue.
i make way too much money to quit this job.. fuck.. they've definitely buttfucked me this time.
positive thinking!
once i transfer, life will be grand... like grand avenue - my street.
i watched southland tales (a richard kelly movie) last night and it was so good. like really good. most people won't like it because they won't understand it. in fact, i don't completely understand it but even in the depths of the internet, nobody understands some parts - get it? yea. because richard kelly is the only one who will ever know some answers. but imdb faq will rule them all. great movie though, check it out at least. tonight i'm going to watch some other movies. poop.
starting line on april 3rd - fuck ya. that will be so fun. and then - and then - and then.... i don't know. it's sad though, nobody wants to hang out up here even though like 6 of my friends that i haven't seen for a long time live up here now!!! what the fuck! let's do something - i'm even down for going to one of these ridiculous "clubs" and taking bart home dizzy. sigh. time will come
im gonna go get a pizza now. a block away. :)

i saw explosions in the sky tonight. it was so nice to take BART to and from and not have to drive. i loved it. i love it here - it's where i've wanted to be for a longgg time.
greg and alex came up tonight with kristen and we all went with stefania to the show, it was fantastic.
i. love. this. place.

moved into my own place, and i'm loving it. :)
i'm finally moving.
i found an awesome place in south san francisco for $400/month. includes free 12mpbs internet (yay) and cable tv (double yay).

if you ever want to come by and crash after you've been in the city for the day, i'm sure i'd be delighted to have company. :)
i'm still working in morgan hill for the time being, until my transfer goes through. but we'll see.
i'll be seeing more travis and more stefania and less of all that shit i don't like here.
yay.

anyways, i've been checking out places in sf this week, and i'm on vaacation since the 13th until the 24th. so it's a nice, well-deserved one. :)
should be in sf by march 1st, hopefully. :]

time warp again!!
well, nothing really new to report. i got a new ipod, and i've been working a lot. i wish i had cool things to talk about, but i really don't. i've been going to my friend arnold's a lot lately, and playing my rock band on his 63" hdtv. that's probably the highlight. seriously.
i cut my hair off, on accident. i told the asian lady "two inches" which meant "twenty inches", so now my tiger mane is gone, and people say it looks better which scares me - did it look terrible before? haha, i don't even care what i look like ... who am i kidding. i saw cloverfield at midnight on thursday, that was cool. i was waiting for that movie for a while, and i totally enjoyed it.
as i write this, i realize i have nothing to really say. i just hope everyone's enjoying the new year and everything else!

woah, time warp.
tomorrow i'm playing a little "gig" (if you want to even call it that) in downtown mountain view, and it's free, so if you guys want to hear me make lots of weird noises out of my amp, then come by and sip coffee with some friends. i'm happy to play again, but it's ehh-whatever. we'll see how it goes before i comment even more on it.
lately i've been super induced by tech blogs and apple rumor sites. one of the main reasons i'm so intrigued by apple is the "fanbase", i guess you can call it. there's literally thousands of very professional graphic and web 2.0 developers that create some amazing stuff for 10.5 leopard and for the iphone for no charge whatsoever. it's really interesting stuff. here's some sites to check out to see what i mean.

i've been playing steady rock band and call of duty 4 lately, and even cory doitch has made an appearance in my nightly headquarters and search and destroy runs. i miss that silly guy.
and obviously, to close, i wish i was in pescara. sigh.

I officially have fixed the pictures from the last post. My apologies for being a downright newbie.

Candidate for movie of the year... you have to see it/hear it to understand its true beauty. It came out Friday nationwide at any music store, and it's like $18 or so. Get it!

i just got paid $1,200 for 2 weeks of work. oh man...
first thing i said was:
" gotta buy a few things, then in 2 months it's craigslist i go to find a room in daly city "
i'm movin out, hopefully sooner than later. i can't stand it here anymore.
also i'm selling my amp, if u want it i'll sell the head and cab for $1000.
i'm happy things worked out for me. i love music and always will but in 2007 and beyond, i still get sick to my stomach when i go on myspace and look at the sorry excuse of a "scene" this music has now a days. i can't even listen to much heavy music without getting bummed out at the type of people that listen to it.
instead i'll just listen to brand new, terminal, or matthew good on my weekly rides to san francisco.
a year ago i thought i was going to be in a band for the rest of my life, and work part-time at walgreens. now i'm making $2,000+ a month and popping pills in a bottle and enjoying everything.
i also have fallen completely back in love with stefania... i never tried talking about her in this journal because it was so private to me, but i can't deny it anymore. i love her and i'm very lucky.
moving out soon...... soonnnnnnnnnn.. please.
here's us, and me, and us... =)

Ahh, sweet fall-time.
I started school, and it's been hectic. I go to school 3 days a week, for just 6 units, and work the other 40 hours of the week. It's pretty much constant cuddle time between me and the Tribute. It's okay though. Things are good. These are my last two classes before I get my Associate of Arts degree in December, and from there I'll transfer to either SJSU or SFSU, probably the latter.
On Wednesday, I take my pharmacy technician certification board test, so wish me luck on that. I'm a bit nervous. It basically means either pass it and get a raise to a (much needed) $16/hour or fail it and possibly get transferred to another Walgreens, and wait another 6 months to try again. I hope I can do it.
As far as music goes, I posted a new song at my music MySpace. Go listen... it's my favorite out of the 5 I've written so far, and I put a brief explanation about the songs on the About Me. Go take a look.
I've gotten the chance to spend some time with the new Matthew Good record, and it's created a great deal of influence for me. I've always been a fan of MGB, and "Avalanche" was a fantastic record of my high school years, but the new record, "Hospital Music" is just astounding. Go take a listen..

I'm happy where I'm at in life right now. Working a lot, making money, about to finish school (finally), and writing music continually. I've averaged about one new song every two weeks, so you can expect that if not sooner - that is, if you're a fan of what I'm putting out.
Thanks for everything - everybody.

i've always been the kind of person to say what i'm thinking - to say what i'm feeling. i think that's the problem a lot of people have. we all have things we want to say/do, but we never act upon them. i think we should all get more on that. i write in here publically, knowing that the things i say in here can affect and bother others, but i have the mindset that if you want to read and listen to what i have to say, then do that - but if you're reading my words and thoughts merely for ridicule and a way to hear what i think, then go elsewhere.
the majority of people that read in here read for the capistrano content entries. as you know, those are now gone. i am not in that band anymore, and if you're interested in what they are doing, go to their myspace.
however, i have started a new musical project with my friend jimmy geiger of know you're waking. it's a foray into music's brighter side, and more meaningful. i've posted up a few rough demos on the myspace that you can check out if you're genuinely curious. the project draws influence from explosions in the sky, sigur ros, mogwai, godspeed you black emperor! and the whole lot. check it out if you're interested.
i am not doing this to play live or gain some sort of credibility, me and jimmy are merely doing this to indulge those who are curious. right now, we're working on a full record that we'll put out for you all to hear. in the meantime, we're finishing up writing songs and getting everything underway. if you're interested in playing an instrument for the effort, feel free to let me know and we'll get you in there!
thanks a lot for those who have sent their kind words of encouragement regarding capistrano and the new project my way. that obviously means a lot. and to those that are disappointed in me in regards to my exit from capistrano - all i really have to say to you is that you don't know how difficult it is to be in that kind of a band with those kind of people. it's a rough ride. but eventually you find your place and you're more happier there.
thank you guys. :)

I made a decision on my lunch break today that I don't think anyone will even notice.
I've been meaning to do this for over a month now, but today I finally told myself to do it. So I did.
And there I go, back to my 'shitty' pharmacy job, and back to life as it was, three years ago. Before I got myself into this whole mess. I'm thinking about going back to school next semester for a class or two. That might help.
But, like I said, I imagine this will go unnoticed.

i don't understand why you need the brand name vicodin. i mean, hydrocodone w/apap 5mg/500mg is 200% cheaper, it's the same ingredients, just made by someone other than abbott labs. oh well. keep raking up health care costs for the rest of us people, thanks!
my entire weeks drag on because of work, but when the paycheck hits, that's when it's worth it.
this friday will be especially rad because of the paycheck hitting, my first pharmacy technician class in hayward from 1 to 4, then a rad show in san lorenzo at 6. s!ck.

july 12th, 2007 - fresno, california - the warehouse

we didn't get to play tonight in porterville. it's a long story, but you can read the comments on our page and kind of figure out for yourself.
i have such high aspirations right now.. and even without my close friend/band manager there to guide me and give me some support, i'm doing everything on my own. we've begun writing the fourth CD and figuring out plans for the rest of the year.
i can just promise you all that huge things are coming soon. i don't mean labels, i don't mean anything of that nature. something bigger than that. new music. and by new music i mean the kind that is redefining our band.
there's no more breakdowns. there's no more bullshit parts. i've looked deep into a lot of stuff and the songs that we're writing now are more rhythm based and focused more on the later breather resist efforts, and obviously still very influenced by graf orlock, converge, and curlupanddie. but this is stuff that we're super proud of. please stay tuned and stay interested.
songs completed for the new album include:
"the longest day"
"bill lumbergh"
"the volvo king was in death valley"
"untitled 2"
i'm just excited to do something different for a change. if you're with me - great, if not, then you never were..
music!
